Job Description

Medical Assistant (Danbury) - Outstanding Part Time Opportunity Integrated Medical of Danbury, LLC provides clinical and administrative examinations for our patients as well as weight loss management with GLP-1's.
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant Certification or Diploma (preferred) Medical Assistant seeking an extern site or working directly with an extern site must have one (preferred) year experience in a medical office setting with at least one year experience working directly in a medical assistant capacity, or 5 years experience in direct service to patients in medical office setting. Will train.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Medical Director and clinical staff with direct patient care. Coordination of patient care, including lab and radiology pre-authorization. Proficiency with electronic scheduling, electronic health records, insurance eligibility verification, and data management. •Spanish fluency required•We offer training in the utilization of electronic medical records, and coordinating data from labs and radiology. The ideal candidate must have outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills, computer proficiency and be detail oriented. The candidate will be expected to develop rapid competency and demonstrate a high level of commitment. We offer a great work environment with a teamwork oriented approach.
