Certified Clinical MA/Medication Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated, reliable and compassionate Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (MA) and Medication Specialist to join our very busy private primary care team. The ideal candidate would possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high quality patient care. Organization, communication with staff and providers, along with completing skills is a must. Duties Medication Refills and medication authorizations. Triaging calls, scheduling sick or problem visits Assisting with walk in patients (UTIs, BPs, Coumadin PT/INR, etc.) Documenting medical information accurately in patient records Assisting with organizing Pre Operative appointments for upcoming surgeries, communicating with Providers Assisting with rooming patients, EKGs, ear flushing, vital signs, urinalysis and documenting chief complaints when needed Experience Candidate should have a valid Medical Assistant Certification and experience in a clinical setting. Five or more years' experience in the medical setting. Strong communication skills and positive attitude Attention to details Ability to work effectively within a team Work independently
