Job Description Responsible for a variety of patient care functions under the direction of physicians and mid-level providers. Greets & escorts patient to exam room. Obtains & records vital signs into the Electronic Medical Record. Maintains a safe & clean environment for the patient. Maintains equipment & supplies. Maintains effective interpersonal relationships with patients, families & coworkers. Performs additional duties as assigned. Performs administrative duties and covers front desk based on business needs. Floats to other offices based on business needs. Qualifications Education Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR an active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic or Medic Certification OR relative experience as outlined below. Experience In lieu of education requirement, at least one year of experience in direct patient care (acute or ambulatory space) may be considered. Licensure, Certification, Registration Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
