Requirements:

A high school diploma or GED is required. Current CPR Certification. Certified through

ASCP. CPR

Certified. 2+ years working in a Medical Assistant capacity is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Prepare patient for examination by assessing condition, taking vital signs, and/or documenting medical record. May assist Physician and/or technician with procedure(s). Monitor response to treatment and medication. Document patient results. Administer medication and/or injections. Setup IV if necessary. Perform routine laboratory functions such as obtaining specimens and ordering analysis. Assist with front office duties as needed.
