This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced dermatologists and advanced practice providers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We are looking for someone who is dependable, adaptable, and committed to providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain medical histories Assist providers with examinations and procedures Prepare and maintain treatment rooms Perform clinical documentation and chart preparation Administer medications and injections as permitted by training and state regulations Educate patients regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care Assist with prior authorizations, patient messages, and clinical workflows as needed Maintain accurate and timely medical records Support providers and teammates in delivering an outstanding patient experience Qualifications Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA or RMA) Dermatology experience preferred Previous experience in a medical office required Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical environment Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and excellent patient care Travel Requirements This position requires flexibility to travel between all four practice locations as needed: Newtown Southbury New Milford Ridgefield Reliable transportation and the ability to work at any of our offices based on staffing and patient care needs are required.
