Join us at Chase Oncology Infusion Center at Saint Mary's Hospital, Waterbury CT, and contribute your skills to a team committed to delivering high quality patient care. We're looking for someone who is organized, patient focused, and thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment. If that sounds like you, we'd welcome the opportunity to connect. You would be responsible for coordinating patient flow in office, preparing patients for office visits, escorting patient to treatment rooms, obtaining patient information for medical records, and documenting information in patients' chart.
  • What you will do
  • + Prepares patients for office visits + Performs tasks including escorting patient to treatment room, obtaining pertinent patient information for medical record, and documenting information in patients' chart + Processes patient telephone calls and correspondence for the practice + Organizes and prioritizes duties to optimize efficiency and promote positive patient outcomes.
Scribes information on a regular basis
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • + High School Diploma. + Medical Assistant certification
  • required
  • + Must also have current CPR certification. + Preferable 1 to 2 years' experience in a medical office/hospital setting involving medical assisting and direct patient care
