Day Shift/ Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday:
7:45 AM•4:15 PM (may extend based on clinic flow) and Wednesday:
12:45 PM•5:15 PM Guaranteed Hours:
40 Hours/Week Local's pay range: $24•29/hour (•Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.) Duties Room patients and prepare them for examinations and procedures. Assist physicians and physician assistants during dermatology exams and procedures. Set up procedure rooms, instruments, and supplies for treatments and minor procedures. Answer patient calls and respond to RightFax and electronic in-basket messages. Complete prior authorizations and provide administrative and clinical support as assigned. Requirements Education High School Diploma or GED required. Experience Minimum one (1) year of Medical Assistant experience required. Dermatology experience preferred. Certifications Current Medical Assistant Certification required through one of the following approved organizations: AAMA AMT NAHP NCCT NCMA NHA AAH ARMA
Skills Patient rooming and intake. Assisting with clinical examinations and procedures. Prior authorization processing. Electronic medical record and in-basket management. Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
