$21
Per Hour MUST:
5+ year of recent experience as a Medical Assistant in a high volume setting Experience assisting providers with exams and procedures Rooming patients Translating for Spanish speaking patients Drawing blood Obtaining vitals Strong EMR documentation Administering injections Scheduling appointments Verifying insurance Checking patients in and out Performing patient call backs Answering phones Taking detailed messages Assist patients with prescription refills Obtaining vitals Experience in Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Urgent Care HS diploma
DUTIES:
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Perform selected clinical and administrative duties Room patients Help translate for Spanish speaking patients Prepare patients for examination and treatment. Take patient histories and vital signs Answer phones Take detailed messages Update medical records Assist with exams and procedures Draw blood Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments Administer injections Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for procedures, including cleaning and sterilization Schedule appointments Perform patient call backs Maintain patient files, records and other information Perform direct patient care as instructed by the provider Complete documentation on all patients Take telephone messages for doctors Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
