Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will make a meaningful difference in patient care. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support across outpatient setting, including specialized areas such as orthopaedic, Podiatry and pain medicine. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth clinical operations, enhance patient experiences, and uphold the highest standards of medical support. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment committed to excellence. Responsibilities Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and updating electronic health records (EHR) systems with accurate information. Measure and record vital signs to assist clinicians in diagnosis and treatment planning. Support physicians and PA's during procedures by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and managing supplies efficiently. Set up diagnostic procedures such as X-ray imaging or assisting with ultrasound exams in appropriate settings. Manage administrative duties including appointment scheduling, patient service coordination, ICD coding for billing purposes, and maintaining detailed medical documentation. Collaborate seamlessly with x ray, surgical scheduling, call center and front desk Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical-surgical practices to support accurate patient assessment and care delivery. Proficiency with EHR systems for documentation and data management; familiarity with ICD coding is a plus. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations. Ability to perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and rooming patients for intake Experience supporting urgent care, surgical practices or specifically orthopedic clinics enhances your versatility within our team. Pay:
