Job Description

Medical Assistant•ENT Practice Cape ENT is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our patient-centered specialty practice. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule — no weekends, holidays, or evenings.

Thursday:
6:45 AM•3:30
PM Friday:
6:45 AM•12:00 PM The ENT Medical Assistant plays an essential role in supporting our otolaryngology providers and ensuring each patient receives compassionate, efficient, and high-quality care. Qualifications Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems•required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an ENT, allergy, or surgical specialty setting Knowledge of ear irrigations, nasal endoscopy assistance, or allergy testing/injections Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) perferred Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and room patients for ENT evaluations and procedures Obtain and document vital signs , patient histories, medications, and allergies Assist providers with in-office procedures (e.g., ear cleanings, nasal endoscopies, laryngoscopies, biopsies, minor surgeries) Administer injections or immunotherapy as ordered Maintain sterile instruments and exam room cleanliness per infection control standards Restock and prepare exam rooms , procedure rooms, and supplies daily Maintain medical supply inventory Manage patient calls Prepare charts , verify insurance and medical records, and update patient information in the EMR Request and manage medical records as needed Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives Provide excellent patient communication and education regarding procedures, medications, and follow-up care Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude Perform other duties as assigned by management or providers
