Medical Assistant

Position Summary Infusion Solutions of Delaware (ISD) is seeking a motivated and professional Medical Assistant to join our growing specialty practice in Newark, Delaware. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative outpatient environment focused on high-quality patient care in Rheumatology and specialty infusion services. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining professionalism and compassion with patients and coworkers. Primary Responsibilities Assist providers during patient visits and clinical workflows Prepare patient charts in advance of appointments Review and locate laboratory and diagnostic test results Assist with supervised injections and related patient care activities Assist with chart audit requests and clinical documentation support Communicate effectively with patients, providers, pharmacies, and staff Help maintain efficient patient flow and provider schedules Support overall office operations and patient experience Qualifications Medical Assistant certification preferred, but experience will be considered Prior outpatient medical office experience strongly preferred Experience in Rheumatology, specialty care, infusion, or internal medicine is a plus Strong computer and EMR skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Dependable, punctual, and able to multitask effectively Professional appearance and demeanor required Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $20-$26 per hour , based on experience Excellent working environment with supportive team culture Opportunity for professional growth and advancement Full-time position Excellent benefits including health, vision, dental, PTO, 401K Infusion Solutions of Delaware is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
