Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our client's busy healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive clinical and administrative support across various medical specialties. This role is vital in ensuring efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality patient care. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in medical procedures, patient service, and medical administrative tasks within diverse healthcare settings. Note:
this is a part-time position, only requiring Mondays from 9am-5pm. Additional hours could potentially be available in the near future. Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Record vital signs, medical histories, medications, and chief complaints Assist providers during patient examinations and treatments Perform phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and specimen collection as permitted by state regulations Clean and sterilize medical instruments and exam rooms Administer medications and vaccinations under provider supervision Educate patients regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) Current CPR/BLS certification preferred Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Skills & Competencies Excellent patient service and bedside manner Strong organizational and time-management skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude This position offers an engaging environment where your skills directly impact patient well-being. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
