Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Medical Assistant to become a part of our growing team! Responsibilities:
Participating in and helping to create a culture of excellence, reliability and trust that is experienced by our patients, their families and all our colleagues. Prepare all patient charts for upcoming visits with most updated medical records, labs and imaging as needed to provide efficient patient care. Perform all vitals and document relevant segments during the patient's office visit. Being comfortable performing routine wound care for surgical patients. Check out patients and assist in further scheduling of follow up appointments and procedures. Assist in performing in office procedures. Coordinate communication with provider, pharmacies, and external facilities, as needed, to ensure seamless and timely patient care Answer/return patient clinicals calls as needed
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of EMR required; experience with eClinical Works is a plus. Minimum 3 years' experience working as Medical Assistant in specialty group practice; experience in Surgery or Vascular Surgery is a plus Being detail oriented and ability to multitask is required. Ability to communicate effectively with providers and patients. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Medical Assistant Certification preferred but not required

$18.03 - $26.53 per hour
