You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep our office running smoothly and our providers take the best care of the patients we serve.
Responsibilities:
Proficient use of Electronic Medical Record Prepare patient encounters for upcoming visits with the most updated medical records, labs and imaging as needed to allow our provider to provide efficient patient care Perform all vitals and document all relevant medical history Check out patients and schedule follow up appointments as needed Coordinate communication between our providers, pharmacies, patients, and other practices/providers, as needed, to ensure seamless and timely patient care Answer/return patient clinicals calls, as needed
Qualifications:
Proficiency in use of EMRs required; experience with Practice Fusion is a plus Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant in specialty group practice; experience in Nephrology is a strong plus Detail oriented and ability to multitasking is required Medical Assistant Certification preferred but not required Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
