Obtains and accurately documents patient vital signs, height and weight, takes brief history on current illness or injury, current medications, allergies, required screenings, and other pertinent information into electronic health record as appropriate. Record provider's interactions with patients and assisting with clerical duties related to medical documentation. Receive phone calls, respond to patient messages, schedule appointments, obtain necessary patient information to file and update patient records, and ensure all forms and consents are completed by patients. Administer injections and medications and perform routine blood collection and tests. Prepare equipment and examination rooms Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies. Required Skills Able to work well with a team. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in spoken and written English with an array of audiences (patients, staff, visitors, physicians, etc.) in an uplifting, courteous and friendly manner. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies. Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures. Administration of SQ and IM injections. Accurately maintain medical records. Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated. Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times. Basic knowledge of medical terminology. Knowledgeable of HIPAA policies and procedures.
Details:
Full Time Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm Eligible for Health/Vision/Dental Insurance after 90 days of employment. Six paid federal holidays Ten additional days of paid time off per year FSA, 401K and additional employee benefits
