Medical Assistant

Established Dermatology office is seeking a Medical Assistant who will work alongside our dermatologist and office staff , assisting with patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Duties Assist our dermatologist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Clinical documentation:

Accurately enter patient information into the electronic health record (EHR) system. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical history and relevant information.

Inventory management:

Ensure medical supplies are stocked and properly maintained. Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Educate patients on skin care regimens, treatment plans, and post-procedure care. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures. Skills Familiarity with coding practices related to dermatology procedures. Knowledge of dermatological conditions and treatments. Experience in medication administration, particularly in a clinical setting. Understanding of geriatric care principles as they relate to dermatology. Strong background in physiology, medical-surgical practices, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge is essential. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.
