In-person, Bonita Springs, FL About Us Dove Behavioral Health is a growing outpatient psychiatric practice providing medication management and psychotherapy services for children, adolescents, and adults. We offer both in-office and telehealth appointments and pride ourselves on providing compassionate, patient-centered care with little to no wait time for new patients. We are seeking a reliable, organized, and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities Obtain and document vital signs, height, weight, and other clinical information. Prepare patients for psychiatric appointments. Review and update medication lists, allergies, and medical histories. Assist providers with medication refill requests. Process prior authorizations and medication-related paperwork. Coordinate laboratory orders and communicate results as directed by providers. Manage incoming phone calls, patient messages, and prescription requests. Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR). Ensure compliance with HIPAA and office policies. Assist with general clinical and administrative duties to support providers and patient care. QualificationsRequired High school diploma or GED. Medical Assistant experience in a healthcare setting. Strong computer and EMR skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail. Preferred Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent. Experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, primary care, or family medicine.
