Medical Assistant

MedFlorida Medical Centers has an immediate Medical Assistant Position open in their Boynton Beach Location.

Responsibilities:

Escort patients to exam rooms, verify patient information and triage the patient. Measure vital signs, intake weight, height, BMI, blood pressure, pulse, temperature and document all information into patient's chart. Ensure all related reports, labs and documents are filed and available in patient's medical records prior to their appointment. Turnover exam rooms, stock with adequate medical supplies, instruments, sterilize medical equipment and maintain tidiness. Answer high volume of incoming calls, and answers inquires and return messages to patient/physician/pharmacy calls. Check Faxes & Voicemails regularly, multiple times a day. Maintain all logs and required checks (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, oxygen, cold sterilization fluid change, etc. ) . Fulfill all other duties as assigned by Clinical Coordinator, Office Manager or Management. Assist providers in exam rooms as required.
