Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our busy practice.
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and reliable Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and prepare patients for examination Take and record vital signs, patient history, and chief complaints Assist with minor medical procedures and exams Administer medications and injections as directed by a physician Perform basic laboratory tests Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR system Schedule appointments, answer phones, and manage front desk duties as needed Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use
Prior Authorizations Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred BLS certification required (or willingness to obtain) Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems a plus
