Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your energy and dedication will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support for women's health. Your expertise in medical assisting, patient service, and administrative tasks will help ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences. Duties Assist with patient intake by updating electronic health records (EHR systems) accurately. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse to support diagnosis and treatment plans. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, positioning them appropriately, and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Support clinical procedures including medication administration and specimen collection, while adhering to safety protocols. Manage medical documentation with precision by maintaining detailed patient records. Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers by answering questions, scheduling follow-ups, and coordinating referrals for specialty care. Provide exceptional patient service by demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and responsiveness in a clinic environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) certification. Familiarity with EHR (eCW preferred experience) systems for accurate documentation. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations.
