Medical Assistant/Roomer

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospital medicine, urgent care, and geriatrics. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform basic life support as needed and maintain patient safety. Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Manage coding for billing purposes to ensure proper documentation of services rendered. Inhale and administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medical office or clinic environment. Support the healthcare team with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries. Draw labs when ordered by the provider Requirements Proficiency in using EHR systems for documentation and patient management. Knowledge of medical coding practices is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
