Medical Assistant

Nature Coast Health Care is looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant with primary care office experience to support our growing practice. If you're compassionate, organized, and love helping patients feel their best, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Room patients, record vitals, update medications, and prepare charts Assist providers during exams, procedures, and treatments Administer injections, vaccines, and perform EKGs or other point-of-care tests Collect and process lab specimens accurately Maintain EMR documentation and ensure patient records are complete Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up appointments Provide patient education on preventive care and medication instructions Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and ready for use Support the front office team as needed with scheduling or phone calls What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred At least 1 year of experience in a primary care or family medicine office Familiar with EMR systems Excellent communication and teamwork skills Compassionate, reliable, and committed to quality patient care What We Offer Monday-Friday schedule (no weekends or major holidays) Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits Paid time off and holiday pay PTO on us for your birthday Supportive, team-oriented environment focused on patient care and staff growth Be part of something meaningful.
