Job Description

Overview Please read before applying: Only candidates who meet ALL requirements (bilingual, healthcare experience, and blood draw skills) should apply. Applications that do not meet these criteria will not be considered. We are seeking a bilingual ( English/Spanish ) Medical Assistant with a positive attitude and strong clinical skills to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate must have experience in the healthcare field, be comfortable performing phlebotomy (blood draw required), and able to support front desk duties when needed.

Greet patients and assist with check-in and intake

Phlebotomy skills (must be able to draw blood)•
REQUIRED
Experience with EHR systems (Athena preferred) Basic knowledge of insurance verification Schedule appointments using EHR (Athenahealth preferred) Verify insurance (Medicare/Medicaid knowledge required) Answer calls and manage patient communication Take vital signs and assist provider during visits Perform phlebotomy (blood draw required) Maintain accurate patient records and follow HIPAA guidelines This role is essential to delivering outstanding patient experiences while supporting the operational excellence of our healthcare facility. Pay:
$17.00•$17.50 per hour
