Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Certified Medical Assistant / Front Desk to join our fast-paced cardiology practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in both clinical and administrative duties, excellent customer service skills, demonstrates the ability to communicate clearly and contributes to a supportive workplace culture. Clinical Duties Obtain and document patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, and oxygen saturation. Perform EKGs and assist provider with exercise stress tests. Prepare patients for examination. Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system. (Preferably EClinicalWorks) E-prescribe medications. Administrative Duties Answer phones and schedule appointments. Verify patient demographics and insurance information. Assist with insurance authorizations and procedure scheduling. (when needed) Check patients in and out. Experience Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting. Certified Medical Assistant / MA that is credentialed through an accredited program. Prior experience in a cardiology office preferred Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology Experience working with EHR systems to document patient data accurately and efficiently (Preferably EClinicalWorks) Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
