This role includes assisting with a variety of clinical tasks, keeping things running smoothly, and making each patient's experience in our dermatology practice the best it can be. It's a fantastic chance to work alongside talented professionals in a friendly environment with great hours, amazing colleagues, and supportive supervisors—and yes, we also offer cosmetic treatments as a perk!•Responsibilities include: Creating a welcoming and courteous atmosphere throughout the patient encounter. Greeting patient and documenting intake information into electronic medical record. Remaining with physician throughout the encounter to scribe into electronic medical record and assist with procedures (biopsies, surgeries, laser, injectables and other cosmetic procedures), then turn-over room and log specimens for pick-up. Keep exam rooms stocked and prepared for the day's activities. Triage clinical phone calls from patient and pharmacies and preauthorization's. Call patients to discuss biopsy results. Ability to calmly multi-task, as on occasion there are multiple rooms in motion. Keep exam rooms stocked and prepared for the day's activities. Educate patients on cosmetic procedures and recommend appropriate products for their skin type. Maintain clinical supplies and ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of equipment in compliance with health standards. Document patient interactions accurately within EHR systems and assist with ICD coding for diagnoses. Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, offering post-procedure instructions, and ensuring a positive experience. Advocate for the providers and practice. Implement policies and procedures to ensure patients have an outstanding experience. Skills Strong knowledge of dermatology practices and outpatient clinic procedures. Experience with medical-surgical environments is highly desirable. Proficiency in

EMA, EHR

systems and familiarity with medical terminology related to dermatology. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to skin conditions and treatments. Experience with medication administration, injections, or topical treatments is preferred. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations including geriatrics and pediatric care.
