We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our team. About Us ECC Medical Group has proudly served the South Florida community for over 20 years. We provide comprehensive healthcare services for patients of all ages, including preventive care, chronic disease management, wellness services, weight management, behavioral health support, and laboratory services. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs Document patient history and chief complaints Assist providers during examinations and procedures Administer injections, vaccines, and medications as directed Perform EKGs and other clinical testing Prepare and maintain exam rooms Collect and process laboratory specimens Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and patient follow-up Provide excellent patient education and customer service Support front office operations as needed
Qualifications Required:
Medical Assistant certification or equivalent clinical experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Experience with EMR systems Bilingual English/Spanish required
Preferred:
