Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Med Spa team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment. As a Medical Assistant, you will support healthcare professionals by performing both clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and administering medications as directed. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with medical protocols. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional manner. Support medical administrative functions including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling medical billing processes. Utilize knowledge of emergency medicine to respond effectively in urgent situations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center setting to ensure comprehensive patient care. Skills Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to effectively communicate with patients and staff. Proficient in physiology knowledge to assist in patient assessments and care plans. Excellent patient service skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times. Experience with medication administration protocols and safety measures. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks, including electronic health records management.
