Job Description

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) Physicians' Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier multi-specialty practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Estero and Lehigh Acres. We are currently seeking Certified/Registered Medical Assistant for our Adult Medicine division in Fort Myers.
Our Certified Medical Assistants:
Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient and physician use Perform patient intake; vital signs, medical history and medication review Assist physicians in the exam room during physicals and procedures Record patient chart in management system in a timely and accurate manner Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations This position will require travel between pediatric offices as needed To Be Successful -
You Need:
A certification or registration from an accredited program for medical assistants (CMA/RMA) Great attention to detail and ability to record information accurately Solid attendance record Excellent and professional customer service skills Knowledge of phlebotomy, patient intake and common medications One year of medical assisting experience or combination of medical education and work experience CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
