In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support to healthcare providers . Your expertise will help ensure smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and exceptional patient service. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and efficiently facilitate patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories and verifying insurance information. Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate with precision. Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures by preparing equipment and ensuring a sterile environment. Support physicians with medication administration, wound care, and basic life support (BLS) procedures when necessary. Operate EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems accurately to document patient encounters, ICD coding for diagnoses, and treatment plans. Manage medical supplies inventory and ensure all clinical areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, explaining treatment procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout visits. • Support hospital medicine teams by assisting with patient admissions, discharges, and documentation for inpatient stays across various specialties. Experience Prior experience working as a Medical Assistant in outpatient clinics or hospital settings is highly preferred. Experience in dermatology, emergency medicine, or hospital environments such as Level II trauma centers is advantageous. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medication administration is essential for success in this role. Demonstrated ability to operate EHR systems efficiently while maintaining accuracy in documentation. Familiarity with clinical procedures including vital signs measurement, specimen collection, X-ray operation (if certified), and basic life support certification (BLS). Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care are vital for building trust and delivering outstanding service.
