About the Role As the Certified Medical Assistant , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational excellence and strategic direction of Meridian.
You will:
Lead enterprise-wide quality improvement initiatives to foster a culture of excellence and accountability. May be required to go to multiple clinics on campus with licensed physician. Perform clerical, insurance and medical record functions. Retrieve and input data correctly as directed by the physician in the patient EHR. Provide clerical support on all levels within the Center. What We're Looking For Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited course of study as a Medical Office Assistant and have proof of certification as a Certified Medical Assistant. Must maintain current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant. A minimum of 1 year experience with direct patient care in a type of healthcare facility is a must. Previous mental health experience, particularly with psychiatric treatment plans, is ideal. •Must be able to type at least 27 wpm on prescreen assessment and score at least 65% on general assessment.
Drivers Requirement:
Must have a current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements. In order to qualify as a Center Driver, the candidate must have an active Florida Driver's license. Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed for eligibility. No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents within the past 3 years and no major violations during the past 5 years. What You'll Love About Working at
