We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support our providers and deliver an outstanding patient experience. Position Summary The Medical Assistant is responsible for supporting physicians and advanced practice providers with both clinical and administrative duties. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner. Obtain and document patient medical history, medications, and vital signs. Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments. Assist providers during patient visits and minor procedures. Prepare treatment and examination rooms. Schedule patient appointments and maintain provider calendars. Answer incoming calls, relay messages, and respond to patient inquiries. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens as needed. Maintain accurate patient records within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards. Monitor inventory levels and maintain clinical supplies. Clean and sterilize equipment according to established procedures. Provide patient education and follow-up instructions as directed by providers. Support clinic operations and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or Medical Assistant Certification. Minimum 1 year of medical office or clinical experience preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Basic computer proficiency and EMR experience. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Preferred Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) Orthopedic, sports medicine, pain management, or specialty practice experience. Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
