Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support in outpatient settings in endocrinology. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth clinic operations, accurate documentation, and exceptional patient service. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, optainini prior authorizatio, dowloading pumps/CGM and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration to monitor patient health status accurately Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the process Support physicians with clinical tasks including medication administration Perform clinical documentation to ensure precise medical records Manage medical supplies inventory and maintain a safe clinical environment Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, coordinating appointments, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers Experience Prior experience working in endocrinology is highly preferred Hands-on experience that enhances your ability to respond swiftly to diverse situation Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is essential for accurate patient assessment and documentation Experience with insulin pumps, CGM and prior authorizations preferred Proficiency in using EHR systems for documentation and ICD coding ensures compliance with healthcare standards Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred This role offers an exciting opportunity for motivated Medical Assistants eager to grow their expertise across various specialties.
