Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment, such as a Level I Trauma Center or hospital setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a solid understanding of anatomy, and experience with medication administration. This position involves working closely with patients of all ages, including geriatrics, and requires the ability to perform various tasks efficiently while maintaining a supportive atmosphere. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting during procedures. Obtaining required documents and medical records for daily patient appointments . Conduct basic life support (BLS) measures when necessary. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Prepare and assist with Nuclear stress testing, 24hr Holters, Cardiac Event monitors, INR's as required. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Requirements Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred. Familiarity with systems used in medical facilities for patient management and documentation. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care practices. Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center is advantageous but not mandatory. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
