The Medical Assistant will work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, and clinical staff to provide exceptional care and ensure a positive patient experience. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Assist providers with in-office procedures and treatments Administer injections, vaccines, and medications as directed Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) Coordinate patient follow-up, referrals, and diagnostic testing Answer patient questions and provide education under provider direction Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and clinical equipment Support daily clinic operations while maintaining excellent customer service Qualifications Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required OB/GYN or women's health experience preferred Phlebotomy experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Commitment to patient-centered care What We Offer Competitive pay Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive, physician-led team environment Beautiful, modern women's healthcare practice About River & Coast Women's Care River & Coast Women's Care provides comprehensive obstetrics, gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, breast services, imaging, wellness, and aesthetic care throughout Northeast Florida.
