Medical Assisting Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess a range of medical skills. This position offers the opportunity to work in medical settings, providing valuable support to healthcare professionals. Candidate will be responsible for scheduling appointments, answering clinic phone, calling patients to confirm appointments, drawing labs, performing EKG, pulmonary function test, assist with clinic laundry, orienting tasks, in charge of the facility operations, maintaining patient records, and assisting with administrative tasks, perform medical testing, manage clinic daily operations, manage payroll and providers' schedule. On site training will be provided to the right candidate
Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
  • Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, performing venipuncture, and conducting EKGs
  • Assist with physical exams, pulmonary function test, sleep study reports, and other medical procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
  • Provide administrative support such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Be proficient and computer savvy to manage multiple software and EMR systems.
Experience:
  • Prior experience in a medical setting preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Proficiency in basic life support techniques
  • Familiarity with medication administration protocols
  • Ability to provide compassionate patient care in various settings
  • Experience in medical office, urgent care, or related fields is a plus
