Monday, Thursday & Friday:
8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Tuesday & Wednesday:
9:00 AM - 6:00 PM We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to support both front and back office operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will provide clinical and administrative support while ensuring exceptional patient care and efficient office operations.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of Medical Assistant experience required. At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in addition to externship. Front and back office experience required. Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required. EKG experience required. Point-of-Care (POC) testing experience required. EMR experience required. Scheduling and patient rooming experience required. Current BLS or CPR certification required. Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment. Medical Assistant Certification preferred. Occupational Health experience preferred. Experience administering vaccines preferred.
Responsibilities:
Support front and back office clinical operations. Greet, room, and prepare patients for provider visits. Obtain and accurately document patient information and vital signs. Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and specimen collection. Administer vaccines and assist with patient care activities. Perform EKGs and Point-of-Care (POC) testing. Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow. Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries. Maintain and update Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient care environment.
