Job Description
Physician's office in Jacksonville is seeking a bright, friendly, motivated individual to work as a Full-Time Medical Assistant. The candidate we are seeking must have compassion for patients, a professional appearance, dependable, excellent communication and organizational skills, strong ability to be punctual and a positive, energetic attitude. As a Medical Assistant the tasks would include rooming patients, taking vital sign, assisting providers in the exam room, ordering testing as needed. This position also includes obtaining prior-authorizations for in-office procedures and helping in the front office at times. Must be willing to help in other areas if needed.
Position Requirements:
- Experience in OB/GYN required.
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills oral and written; able to communicate effectively with patients and all levels within the care center
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
