Temporary / Part-Time / Weekend Coverage Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Medical Assistant to support a busy pediatric healthcare center with weekend coverage. This role is ideal for a Medical Assistant who enjoys working with children, has strong clinical skills, and is comfortable supporting pediatric providers in a fast-paced outpatient environment. The primary need is weekend coverage (8:00 AM-6:00 PM) , with potential opportunities to pick up additional weekday shifts based on clinic needs. Responsibilities Assist pediatric providers with patient care and clinical support Prepare exam rooms and ensure proper patient flow Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and updates Assist with pediatric exams and procedures Administer vaccines and provide support during immunization visits Document patient information accurately within the EMR system Support scheduling, patient communication, and general clinical duties as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-focused environment Qualifications Previous Medical Assistant experience required Pediatric healthcare experience strongly preferred Experience administering vaccines/immunizations required Experience working with Athena EMR preferred Strong communication and patient service skills Comfortable working with children and families Ability to work independently during weekend clinic hours Why Apply?
