Job Summary Our client is seeking a dedicated and certified medical assistant to join their healthcare team. The primary responsibilities include preparing patients for provider visits, recording vital signs, and performing basic lab tests. The role requires active participation in patient rooming and information documentation. Key Responsibilities Rooming patients and preparing them for provider visits Recording and updating vital signs Documenting patient information Administering injections, with training provided on-site Performing basic in-office lab testing, such as swabs Qualifications Active Certification from Accredited Institution Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or willingness to obtain 12+ months of Clinical MA experience EMR experience (preferred) Skills Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Strong communication and patient care skills Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
