Job Description
Clinical Duties Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight). Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Assist providers during exams and minor procedures. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens (blood, urine, swabs). Perform phlebotomy and administer injections, immunizations, and medications as directed. Conduct EKGs and other basic diagnostic tests. Administer medications and immunizations as directed by providers. Document all patient encounters accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) system.
