Medical Assistant

Our Internal Medicine and Primary Care Practice located in the Lutz / Land O' Lakes area is seeking a Medical Assistant with strong Front Desk experience and some Back Office responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

Answering phone calls and assisting patients courteously and efficiently Verifying insurance benefits and eligibility Obtaining authorizations and referrals as needed Scheduling patient appointments and managing the provider calendar Patient triage and intake Maintaining office logs and ensuring smooth office organization Performing clinical tasks such as blood draws, injections, EKGs, and spirometry testing

Qualifications:

Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills We are currently accepting applications for both Full-Time and Part-Time positions.

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
