Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Experienced Medical Assistant, where your expertise will directly impact the satisfaction of our valued patients.. This vital role combines clinical skills with an emphasis on Cardiology in a clinical settings. You will work closely with healthcare providers in our cardiology , contributing to our high standard of medical service delivery. Duties Assist providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to support diagnostic processes. Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort. Support physicians with clinical tasks such as medication administration, procedures, explaining to patients what our diagnostic processes are. Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently by updating patient information, ICD coding for diagnoses, and documenting treatment plans. Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, scheduling follow-ups, and ensuring a positive experience in outpatient or inpatient settings. Team work and clinical tasks. Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics; Level I/II trauma center experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medication administration protocols. Hands-on experience with EHR systems and proficiency in documentation standards. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications such as X-ray operation or OR experience are a plus. Familiarity with out patient care procedures across various specialties including geriatrics and Cardiology. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately in fast-paced environments. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in clinical settings.
