  • 1:30 PM Job Summary A healthcare clinic is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support both front and back office operations in a fast-paced clinical setting.
This role involves assisting providers with patient care, rooming, vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, Point of Care (POC) testing, and EMR documentation while ensuring efficient patient flow and excellent patient service. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and administrative experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy outpatient environment. Key Responsibilities Support daily front and back office clinical operations Greet, room, and prepare patients for provider visits Obtain and document patient vital signs accurately Perform blood draws and venipuncture procedures Administer vaccines as directed by providers Assist with EKGs and Point of Care (POC) testing Maintain accurate Electronic Medical Records (EMR) documentation Handle patient scheduling, phone calls, and coordination Assist providers and clinical staff throughout daily operations Ensure smooth patient flow and a positive patient experience Maintain clean, organized, and safe patient care areas Follow infection control, safety, and compliance guidelines Required Qualifications 2-3 years of Medical Assistant experience required Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required EKG experience required EMR experience required Front and back office experience required Experience obtaining patient vital signs and rooming patients required Current BLS/CPR certification required Strong communication and organizational skills required Preferred Qualifications Experience with Point of Care (POC) testing preferred Outpatient or urgent care experience preferred For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
