Job Description Join our team as a Back Office Medical Assistant Floater, where you will perform quality team-based patient care under the direct supervision of a clinician. You will be responsible for both clinical and administrative functions to promote health and wellness in a safe and friendly environment. Your role will support clinicians and care management teams in assessing, maintaining chronic disease management, examining, and treating patient populations. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing all laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. As a floater, you will work in various offices to support either the Medical Assistant role or dedicated laboratory functions. Responsibilities Perform clinical and administrative functions under clinician supervision. Support in maintaining chronic disease management and treating patients. Conduct laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. Float between different office locations to support as needed. Communicate and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public. Assess emergencies and act accordingly. Essential Skills Medical Assistant diploma OR Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) OR 3 years' Medical Assistant experience. Phlebotomy experience. Knowledge of basic medical terminology. Knowledge of laboratory quality control requirements. Ability to take manual vitals. Active BLS certification. Active driver's license. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred. Experience with TriMed EMR preferred. Ability to float and adapt to changing work environments. High school diploma required. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Miami, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36000.00 - $46000.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
