Whether working in dermatology clinics, hospital medicine units, or urgent care centers, you'll be at the forefront of delivering compassionate, high-quality healthcare. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting comprehensive medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding of the process Support clinical staff with procedures such as X-ray imaging, medication administration, and basic life support when needed Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient information, ICD coding, and treatment plans Conduct basic physiology and anatomy assessments to support diagnosis and treatment strategies Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, scheduling appointments, and coordinating follow-up care Support hospital medicine units or outpatient clinics with medical-surgical tasks, inpatient care, or specialty areas like geriatrics or PICU Experience Previous clinic experience in outpatient or inpatient settings is highly preferred Hands-on experience with EHR systems and medical administrative support is essential Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medication administration enhances performance Experience working within Level I or Level II trauma centers, emergency medicine environments, or hospital settings is advantageous Familiarity with X-ray procedures or OR experience adds valuable skill sets for specialized roles Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as urgent care or internal medicine clinics Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications in dermatology, hospital medicine, or geriatrics are a plus Embark on a fulfilling healthcare journey where your skills make a real difference!
