We are looking for a passionate and organized Patient Care Coordinator / Medical Assistant to be the bridge between our clinical team and our patients throughout their surgical journey. The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for guiding patients through their preoperative and postoperative processes, ensuring clear communication, comfort, and confidence at every stage. This role requires a patient-centered mindset, excellent organizational skills, and strong bilingual communication abilities in both English and Spanish. Duties Coordinate and manage all preoperative and postoperative patient processes and appointments Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing guidance, support, and updates throughout their care journey Conduct patient intake, verify information, and ensure all pre-surgical requirements are completed Communicate procedure instructions, expectations, and follow-up care to patients in both English and Spanish Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using the clinic's EMR system Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure smooth scheduling and patient flow Respond to patient inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and empathy Assist in managing documentation including consents, medical forms, and follow-up records Ensure patient satisfaction by delivering a warm, professional, and attentive experience at every touchpoint Support administrative tasks as needed to maintain efficient clinic operations
Requirements Bilingual:
fluent or strong command of both English and Spanish High School diploma or GED; medical assistant certification is a plus Experience in a medical, clinical, or patient-facing environment preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using EMR/computer systems for patient records Professional, empathetic, and patient-centered attitude Team player with a positive and proactive approach What We Offer Competitive annual salary: $30,000 - $45,000 based on experience Paid time off and paid holidays Paid training and on-the-job development Opportunities for growth within a fast-growing practice Supportive, collaborative team environment If you're someone who genuinely loves taking care of people and wants to be part of a team that makes a real difference, we'd love to meet you.
