Position Summary:
A Medical Assistant carries out a range of clinical and administrative duties in an outpatient examination room while supervised by a physician.
Responsibilities:
Taking patient's vital signs and inputting patient information into our ERM system Preparing patients for any necessary examination Cleaning and disinfecting treatment spaces Complying with LMC's infection control policies and procedures Be part of an award-winning team! Requirements:
Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy Certifications obtained from an accredited provider. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. Fluency in English and Spanish is required in order to communicate effectively with our patient population. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, or in additional areas of patient health care in a clinical setting. A High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
