Medical Assistant/Patient Monitoring Specialist Onsite Location(s):
Miami, FL, US About This Role:
The Medical Assistant / Patient Monitoring Specialist role will support patients and healthcare providers using NUUBO's wearable cardiac monitoring technology. This role combines clinical support, patient education, remote monitoring coordination, and administrative responsibilities to ensure high-quality patient care and accurate ECG monitoring services.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Assist with patient onboarding and setup of wearable cardiac monitoring devices at customer clinic offices. Educate patients on device usage, wear instructions, troubleshooting, and monitoring procedures. Monitor incoming patient data and escalate urgent findings to clinical staff according to protocols. Support healthcare providers with scheduling, documentation, and patient follow-up. Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) and monitoring reports. Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, or telehealth platforms in a professional and compassionate manner. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, patient privacy regulations, and company quality standards. Collaborate with clinical, technical, and customer support teams to improve patient experience. What We're Looking for in
You:
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience in a medical office, cardiology clinic, remote patient monitoring, or healthcare support role. Basic understanding of ECG/cardiac monitoring terminology. Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Customer-service mindset with a compassionate approach to patient care. Preferred Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent clinical certification. Experience with wearable medical devices or remote monitoring technologies. Knowledge of arrhythmia monitoring workflows. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish).
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
