Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, updating records, and verifying insurance information using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Take and record vital signs (temperature, weight, height, head circumference for infants) Prepare childrens for examinations , including explaining processes and ensuring comfort (help them to feel calm and safe) Assist and support Pediatrician s during exam, minor procedures such as medication administration (nebulizer treatments). Conduct basic physiology and anatomy assessments to aid physicians during examinations or treatments. Administer vaccines and injections (following protocols). perform basic lab test (urine, rapid strep, flu test, etc.) Manage medical documentation with precision, including ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures to ensure accurate billing and record keeping. Manage vaccine inventory and ensure proper vaccine storage (temperature monitoring) Manage medical supplies inventory. Maintain exam rooms child safe and clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols in outpatient. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, offering reassurance, and coordinating follow-up appointments or referrals Experience Prior experience working in medicine environments and preferably experience working in a Pediatric clinic or family practice. Hands-on experience with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions is essential Experience in eClinical Works (preferably). Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medication administration techniques Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
