Job Description

We're looking for a Medical Assistant skilled in Phlebotomy to join our team. This position will be primary involved in lab draw management, but will have the opportunity to support as a Medical Assistant. The right candidate will have a passion for women's health and a keen eye to detail and task management as we are a busy and growing practice. Applicants must have at least 3 years of clinical office experience, including 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
Responsibilities include:
Support patient care by greeting and rooming patients and maintaining high standards of customer service at all times. Collect and process patient specimens, follow proper protocols and safety guidelines. Manage patient documentation and communication on EMR. Support EMR triage addressing OBGYN concerns. Sterilization of equipment and rooms, maintenance of supplies, and preparing areas for patient visits. Manage lab draws and/or injections during appointment times. Additional projects as assigned.
Requirements:
3 year in clinical environment. 1 year of Phlebotomy experience, certificate of training highly recommended. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and commitment to personal growth. Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment Ability to follow strict protocols and adapt to changes in testing procedures.

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
